Exhibit cards are trading or arcade cards once manufactured by the Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago.
The exhibit cards of baseball and football players are the most famous followed by actors and actresses. Cards of sexy women, funny cartoons, jokes and even King Features comic strips can be found on Exhibit cards.
Exhibit cards were found in penny arcade machines like the ones you found along the midway at the amusement park. Usually the machines were one card for a penny. Hordes of cards have been found over the years.
The cards were produced from the 1920’s up into the 1960’s.
This is a history in a nut shell. The sports cards are well cataloged.
If you want to know more, drop me a line.
